Do I need a roller for my pool cover straight away?

Do I need a roller for my pool cover straight away?

We are often asked this question, and the short answer is ‘no’. However, a roller does make handling a pool cover much easier. Without a roller the process of rolling and storing a blanket when not in use will need to be done manually which usually means getting down on hands and knees.

A roller does not need to be purchased at the same time as a pool cover however. If you purchase your blanket as the cooler weather approaches the pool is less likely to be in constant use. Your pool cover can stay on the pool to prevent leaves and debris from getting in and a roller can be purchased in Spring when the pool begins to get used more often.

Our advice to customers for whom expense outlay is an issue is to purchase a cover first and roller at a later date when finances become available.

Fitting a roller is usually a very simple process and there are a wide variety available so suit almost any pool setup.
